The CrocArt Great British Tattoo Master championship is open only to CrocArt Elite Artists and is intended to showcase these highly talented artists.

The Great British Tattoo Master goes to South Africa!

The winner receives :

  • The CrocArt Crochead Trophy
    Created by African Artists and from recycled metal.
  • Certificate
  • 1 return flight to Cape Town. (7 days)
  • Accommodation
  • Transfer to and from Croc Farm and Game Reserve
  • A session Diving to see the crocs up close. (Caged)
  • A Safari drive through a local Game Reserve.
  • CrocArt Products. Value £200

Not included: Meals and Drinks
*Note: There are no cash alternatives. Artists can take a partner/family however they will have to pay the difference. Car Hire is not included. Taxis are plentiful. Take advice on medical requirements. Make sure passport is up to date.

The 2 runners up receive:

  • Metal croc. Made by the African artists
  • Certificate
  • CrocArt Products. Value £200

Extra Marketing and PR
For the whole of 2019 the Great British Tattoo Master along with the
runners up and category winners will receive extra marketing support
such as: local press releases, featured on the CrocArt website plus any
PR opportunities

Note* All material submitted will be used in marketing literature.

This how it works:

  • Submissions are loaded to the site by the artist/studio.
  • 1 month to submit. Then the Public are given 1month to vote.
  • The top 12 pieces of art voted for by the public go through as heat finalists.
  • If scores are tied, lots will be drawn by an independent adjudicator.

The process is repeated in all 3 heats.

In March 2019 the winning pieces from the first 3 heats are re- presented on the CrocArt site and the public will vote again. The nominee with the highest number of votes regardless of the category will be the winner and overall CrocArt Great British Tattoo Master. There will be 2 runners up places. plus 5 Category winners.

Competition Rules

  • Each entry must not have any names, logos or studio name in which they can be identified.
  • Entries must be submitted prior to the closing date of each heat.
  • Each entry must be supplied in the correct format and clearly display a CrocArt Elite Artist logo.
  • No other brand or logo can be shown on the images.
  • If any of the above conditions are not adhered to the Submission will be withdrawn.
  • All submissions must be been complete. No retouching is allowed.
  • In each heat, submissions are Free. Artists can enter all categories. 1 submission per category.
  • There are 6 categories. Small Colour, Small Black and Grey, Large Colour, Large Black and Grey, Realisim and Portraits.
  • Voting is by the Public, artists are permitted to get encourage family, friends, and followers on all social media
    platforms to go to the site and vote.
  • However all voters must cast 3 separate votes for 3 separate pieces of work. This means that all artists will have a better chance of gaining votes from people who wouldn’t normally see their work.
  • Each voter can only cast 1 set of votes per heat.
  • Each Voter will be incentivised to vote: Once votes are cast, the voter will receive a discount code.
    The discount will offer 10% discount any CrocArt products. Plus Free entry into a Family weekend break at the UK’s first private Crocodile farm.
  • To enter the prize draw entrants will need to give CrocArt a follow on Face Book and Instagram and share the competition page. We will require voter contact details so that can be informed if they won the prize draw.
  • For Data protection reasons no details of voters can be shared with artists or any third party.
  • Any Artist or studio who leaves CrocArt will have their work automatically withdrawn from the competition.
  • Artists agree to submit only their own work. Any false submissions will be disqualified.
